How can you effectively get your message across to the media?
Before you release any information, you need to cover all the basics - - Who? - What? - When? - Where? - Why? - How? The most important of all, who is your audience and what do you aim to get from whatever message you are sending? If you can’t answer these, don’t do anything until you can. You will look amateurish and your credibility and experience will be questioned. Make sure you target the right channel for the audience you are targeting too. Demographics/geography are just as important.

How can a Business Relationship Manager balance the needs of their organization and clients?
1. Manage Expectations from the start 2. Understand the business and where they want to get to 3. Be Transparent and honest 4. Never make false promises; or over promise and under deliver 5. Respect is a two way thing 6. Establish from the start how often they want contact - don't assume that your business policy of twice a year or twice a quarter will be what suits them - they might be grateful of a quick call once a month, or prefer just an annual catch up call.

Following the sudden death of my mother to Sepsis in December 2013, I have made it my goal to raise awareness of Sepsis and assist the UK Sepsis Trust in raising funds, and supporting others affected by Sepsis.
During 2014 I organised two large fundraising events - an evening with meal and music; a cycle ride, and more recently a Spiritualist Medium evening. Since 2014 these 3 events have raised a total of almost £15k for UK Sepsis Trust. I am now planning more events for the future.
