The Haven's aim is to provide one-to-one pastoral care, together with networking, arts and music events. It have a team of professional counsellors, therapists and coaches to enable it to deliver its mentoring in London.

It aim is to provide a physical space as a home for The Haven + London’s activities and as a place for creativity to flourish.

By providing exhibition and events spaces; a chaplaincy team on hand to talk to in confidence; meeting rooms; and places for contemplation, the Haven uses its base as location for spiritual reflection tailored to artists and creatives, for workshops, for arts and for creative performances.

As a social enterprise/charity it seeks partners: individuals, companies and institutions that share its vision and can provide expertise and resources to make this a reality.

Achievements: As part of my role as trustee, I drafted and implemented The Haven's Global Data Protection Regulation policy and procedures, provided ad hoc legal advice and assisted with introductions to corporate supporters.

    Cystic Fibrosis Trust

    - 1 month

    Health

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening inherited disease, affecting almost 10,000 people in the UK, clogging vital organs with thick sticky mucus. There is presently no cure. The CF Trust is the UK’s only national charity working for families with CF and to find a cure.

I am delighted to have raised over £2,800 in 2016 whilst running the London Marathon for the Trust.

Futures For Kids was launched in February 2008 by a group of people in the futures industry in Europe, with the aim of raising funds to support children’s charities around the world.

FFK has raised £2.25 million since inception and continues to go from strength to strength. I was delighted to raise £5,000 for them in 2015 by taking part in the "Kilt Challenge".
