Worked on defining, planning, and implementing a new MSSP SIEM service based on HPE ArcSight platform. This involved setting out the overall service/capability ownership model, organisational structures, and headcount required to support the model. Also worked as the Technical Implementation Manager on the project overseeing the SIEM sizing and design, solution architecture, managing vendor and supplier relationships, developing a cost model and managing a small team to deliver the platform to budgets. On deployment of the platform, assisted the first customer to transition from their existing SIEM platform to the service provider MSSP SIEM platform with minimum downtime. Show less

Part of an internal audit to understand how the risk of a cyber-attack is mitigated by assessing a sample of systems against the BIS “Cyber Essentials Scheme” framework. The framework assessed five basic categories of control, which if implemented in full, are aimed at preventing or reducing the majority of potential or identifiable cyber-attacks. Developed the detailed technical blueprints, transition states, and integration delivery roadmap for Networks, End User Computing, Identity & Access Management, Mobility, Service Desk components of this Post Merger Integration Programme.

Involved in completion of the detailed infrastructure design including network layout, and service model documentation for the pre-implementation phase of the project for a large retailer. For a Public Sector client ERP transformation, documented an Outline Solution Design, High Level Design and individual Low Level Designs for the Server, Storage and Network infrastructure components in line with requirements for accreditation. Drove the design of the infrastructure architecture by facilitating technical design workshops and authoring Sizing Models, Licensing Charts, Rack, Cabling and Interface diagrams.
