About
For years I was torn as to what sector of work I wanted to go into- on one hand, I enjoyed the prospects of counselling because I am interested in helping people through life difficulties, and on the other hand I was engrossed in the idea of working in a prison environment with first hand contact with offenders. Then I realised I could combine both my passions.
Doing my Psychology degree at the University of Manchester has allowed me to understand where I want my job to progress to in the future. Having spoken to a Intervention Facilitator and also a Treatment Manager, it has confirmed that I would thrive in one of these roles due to my attention to detail, the consistent high standards I hold my work to and ability to express empathy for others.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time resting up with a good book, or crocheting with some TV on to unwind. I also enjoy baking and cooking for friends or family. You may also catch me out on a hike, or at the gym.
