Sarah's work is inspired by ecoliteracy, regenerative economics, seventh generation thinking, servant leadership, systems theory, ecopsychology and love; based near Bristol working as a freelance facilitator and mentor around the UK and online.

She has a great overview of business in all sectors following an undergraduate degree in Economics and experience in marketing, sales and events in the corporate sector; and managing fundraising campaigns and events in the public and charity sectors. A freedom of spirit and desire for societal change post economic crash, she left the UK to follow a path of living more in harmony with the planet on a three year exploration of South America, unlearning and learning old and new ways of being whilst training and then working in teaching. On return to the UK, she started working at an environmental education centre and then gained experience on a masters degree in Regenerative Economics from Schumacher College/Plymouth University. A lover of learning, she continually adds to her skillset with training and courses in the areas she now works - facilitation.

A fellow of the Schumacher Institute, director and co-founder of Catalista, director and co-founder of Strode Waterfall Land & Story Project social enterprise, stewards land with regenerative, permaculture and agroforestry principles recently Soil Association certified, author of Reclaim Your Sh*t! (a zine about our relationship to water and so-called 'waste') and mother to a three year old. Accreditation with the Natural Academy in Ecopsychology and Nature-based Practice. Member of Nature & Health Practitioners Network and Climate Psychology Alliance.

Our values are community, cooperation, beauty, sustainability, sufficiency and efficiency.
Our work focuses on soil, biodiversity & human regeneration, carbon storage, education, tree planting, and water protection.
We have groups of volunteers/students that we facilitate in learning a more sustainable way of living lightly on the planet through being in relation with this place.
So far we have planted approximately 5000 trees in the past few years: woodland and agroforestry approach.
We are part of Chew Valley Plants Trees -a volunteer-led collective - aiming to double the tree cover in the area over the next 10 years. Our project gives a working example to other land owners of agroforestry methods that have multiple short and long-term benefits.

Have you ever considered that we use drinking water in our toilets? In these times of climate breakdown, ecological degradation, social stress, and resource scarcity, isn’t it time this changed?

Taking a journey through the history of the flush, to our changing relationship with water, and on to bold suggestions for change, Reclaim Your Sh*t is starting the conversation we need to have, but convention holds us from having.

Jackson is going to have you sitting on the toilet wanting to finish this pipe-blocker of a book.
