About

As Director of John Ellerman Foundation, I work with the team, our Board and key stakeholders to deliver our aim to advance the wellbeing of people, society and the natural world through our grantmaking in the arts, social action and environment, and the ways in which we manage the investment of our endowment.

I am proud of my professional and voluntary experience, which has included working for charitable grantmakers, public institutions and civil society organisations. My experience has resulted in an MBE for charitable services, awarded in 2020, and an honorary fellowship with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. I also gained an executive MBA with a specialism in strategic leadership from Warwick Business School in 2022.

I have strong cross-sectoral experience and expertise in policy development, learning and impact, strategy, grantmaking, responsible investing, building teams and delivering services. I particularly enjoy writing, communicating and delivering strategies, researching social, environmental and economic policy, developing teams and managing cross-sectoral relationships and collaborations.
