    At Concern Worldwide, innovation has always been one of their core values. From pioneering Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) in children—now the gold standard of care—to extending use of mobile cash transfers to aid the poorest, Concern has a rich history of practical, field driven innovations that have led to transformational changes in development and global health. We combine creative thinking with a pragmatic and courageous approach to programming.
    Concern’s track record of successful innovations and commitment to the communities were cited by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation when they invested in Innovations for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health. An 8-year initiative implemented by Concern, Innovations tested creative solutions to improve the lives of women, babies and young children in resource-poor settings of Africa and India. In 2017, Concern is building on the achievements and expertise generated through this body of work to launch the Centre for Health and Innovation.

    Concern's goal, as always, is to improve lives of people living in extreme poverty.
