What are the best ways to present confidently and avoid distractions?
I like to think of 2 elements to prepare for the content and the performance. Ensure you are the expert of your content, what is the story you are taking the audience on, what's the subtext to what's not being said, what are key concepts and metaphors that can bring your audience along and if you only had to land 1 or 2 messages in a slide what would they be. This ensures if anything happens on the day you are master of the content and can deal with any questions or surprises. Then there's the performance. What impact you are trying to leave, what is the emotion you are leaving your audience with. Remember all good plays are rehearsed until they are word perfect, then you can experiment and just surrender to the moment.

How can you balance individual contributions with collaboration when presenting?
The heart of any presentation is your audience - I think starting there is key. What is your objective and how will you present to support your objective in a way that the audience can hear it. In this way the teams delivery should be shaped around what comes from those two anchors. I.e. Who will create the content in the way the audience can receive it. Who will convey the messages in the tone and delivery style relevant for them. Playing to strengths is key, yet strengths is relative to the audiences needs.
