Live in-stream ad break replacement
Box TV has launched an alternative online advertising solution where brands can target audiences by channel and environment using viewer data. Using in-stream ad-replacement technology developed by Yospace, with ad decisioning performed by Tremor Video, replacement adverts will be introduced into its simulcast and then app streams in real-time.

The solution uniquely harmonises technical elements from both the broadcast and digital domains for Network Ten to deliver a true broadcast experience with seamless and frame accurate replacement of the broadcast advertising. Now, Network Ten can apply its interactive digital ad inventory to ad breaks during the Sochi Games live coverage across a wide range of connected devices.
The ability to execute targeted interactive ad replacement gives advertisers a level of personalisation and interactivity not previously seen in live online simulcasts. Ads are managed through DoubleClick, integrated with the Yospace system, to determine which ads are shown to each user/platform.
