- Servicing clients, including full BBC Worldwide Portfolio, ITV Global, Virgin and Viacom, using various automation systems such as ITX 1.4 and ITX 2, Inetsat, Cinegy and Pharos Playtime
- Making sure that the correct content is playing to air at all time by monitoring video, multi-language and Dolby audio, all on air graphics using vertigo, subtitles and channel bugs.
- Rapidly diagnose and remedy faults to maintain first line support of service, resolution escalation in close partnership with the clients and engineering department.
- Loading and checking through live schedules for issues whilst ensuring the correct versions are loaded.
- Chasing up any missing material with both ingest department and the clients.
- Identifying, resolving and reporting any technical issues and being aware and able to deploy disaster recovery plans.
- Managing incoming feeds for turnaround and records for later insertion.
- Strictly adhered to regulatory compliance (OFCOM) and operational procedures.
- Making relevant, accurate and timely TX reports as necessary.
- Liaise with the satellite uplink/ signal transport providers, suppliers and the clients scheduling departments, creating and running the playlists on the servers and making adjustments to playlists as per schedulers’ instructions.
- Assist in channel launches and channel migrations.
