VP of Engineering

VP, Engineering – Product | Payments

We are partnered with a global payments brand looking to hire a VP, Engineering - Product to their UK or US team on a fully remote basis. A brand founded on robust principals to make a difference in deprived countries of the world.

You will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the payment platform to allow consumers and businesses to make and receive payments internationally. We are looking for a technical leader with proven experience leading product and engineering teams that can set a strategy and product roadmap, while driving constant innovation.

This role will create the vision for the company and in partnership with the rest of the Executive Leadership Team, you will ensure that product and engineering runs smoothly from conception and prioritization, to the point of scheduling and execution. This role will report directly into the CTO.

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Highly educated with a master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
• Proven experience leading and scaling cross functional teams in a fast-paced tech environment
• Deep understanding of software engineering and product development
• Industry experience in the payments industry would be highly desirable
• Cloud infrastructure, software architecture and scalable systems
