Goldsmiths,Highcross Shopping Centre Leicester

Great experience again from Goldsmiths Highcross. I would like to thank Jamie and Christine for securing the timepiece. Also Sangita provided a very pleasant experience during the purchase and was very helpful. I would highly recommend this branch.

I attended the Southampton store today…

I attended the Southampton store today and was dealt with by a member of staff called Sharon, she was excellent.

Previously I visited Laings jewellery opposite and as I always walk around in crocs , and hoodies they were the rudest shop I have ever been into and locked the doors while I was in there - ridiculous (honestly dont waste you time going there)

I walked across to Goldsmiths and was met by Sharon , told her what I was after , she straight away sat me down helped me find exactly what I wanted online , while offering refreshments all the time.

We ordered the watch ,it was such a friendly experience and Sharon was a very helpful member of staff

Watch and service excellent

Very pleased with the price of the watch I purchased and also how quickly it was delivered , I liked the fact that you can order up to 9pm and get delivery next day , ordered 8 o'clock on Friday night and delivered 11 o'clock on Saturday morning . Very pleased with the watch and service .

Best buying experience ever. Polite and friendly staff who had a fantastic knowledge of watches.

Do your self a favour, don’t go anywhere else and don’t order online, visit a showroom.

Poor aftercare / customer service

My son bought his girlfriend a Thomas Sabo bracelet, it broke after a couple of months and needed soldering back together. The store told him that it would cost him £25 non refundable deposit to send it back and then there could be a repair charge on top! I think that’s ridiculous for an item that cost £100. Now will have to take it to my local jeweller who will solder it for a fraction of that. Will not be returning to Goldsmiths even though we have always bought from them in the past including our wedding rings and Tag watches. You get nothing for loyalty there’s days sadly.

Having left purchasing our wedding rings to the last minute Ella was extremely helpful in choosing the perfect rings. We had one ring handed down to us. It was repaired and resized, it came back really quick and looked brand new. The other ring we chose was in stock and we were able to take it away the same day.

5 star service from Tatiana Goldsmith Trafford Centre

Not often I write reviews, but I have to say the service my wife and I have recently received from Tatiana at Manchester Trafford Centre store has been beyond 5 Star.
We have recently purchased two beautiful watches and have been really impressed with the newly refurbished store and all the other members of staff. We were in there this week picking up my new watch ( it had to be ordered) when my wife was chatting to one of the other colleagues and mentioned that a ring she had on , which was not purchased in the store needed a polish. Without any further prompt the assistant offered us a complimentary drink and asked if she could take my wife's ring to give it a soft polish. Five mins later the ring was back , looking like brand new.
Tatiana as always went out of her way to make us feel at home and then took me through the features of my new watch. Nothing is ever rushed it is like visiting a friend.
We both look forward to seeing you again soon.

Bought my husband a pre owned Brietling…

Bought my husband a pre owned Brietling watch which is absolutely immaculate.
Really impressed with the price, the warranty and the lovely chap who dealt with us on picking up our click and collect order.
The strap needed adjustment which was done willingly and with a smile.
Would recommend Goldsmiths without hesitation.

Online order for a special birthday…

Online order for a special birthday promptly delivered. Beautiful item but I had a few questions about it, so went into a store. They couldn’t have been more helpful and kind, and their exceptional service was above and beyond expectations. I was reassured that this is a great company to deal with, and would have no hesitation using them again and recommending them to others. Great to find in this day and age. Thank you Goldsmiths!

Goldsmiths Nottingham Victory Centre. Poor customer service.

Goldsmiths Nottingham Victory Centre.
Purchased wedding ring in 2018, 18k white gold diamond ring. 1st repair Sept 2018 with chipped diamond. My wedding ring was melted down and remade, I was mortified as this was my wedding ring. Married feb 2018. My ring finally was ready for collection December. Goldsmiths apologies for this poor customer service and was told as a kind gesture they would extend the warranty. 2 nd time my ring went back with 2 chipped diamonds this was 2022, again took several months before ready for collection. Again very poor customer service who infact told me I had damaged my ring! I also wear a engagement ring on the same finger and never had a problem with any damage to this ring and this ring sits on my finger the same as my wedding ring so if I had damage my ring then surely my engagement ring would also be damaged. I have been told it is very difficult to chip a diamond. 3 rd time my ring is currently with goldsmiths this time a diamond has fallen out. This ring was taken to the shop over 6 wks ago. I received a email 2 wks ago asking me to pay £300 to replace the diamond. I returned the email explaining the above and now they have wavered the balance. The whole experience with goldsmiths customer service has been very poor. Always passing the book, never giving me a answer. I still have no idea the expected date to receive my ring back. 6 years, 3 returns. Melted down without my consent, for this to happen this tells me there is a defendant fault with this ring. How many more times is this going to happen.

Amelia in the White Rose shopping…

Amelia in the White Rose shopping centre was brilliant. She conducted herself very professionally. Me and my husband were offered drinks on arrival to make our experience extra special.
I was purchasing a Tag Huer watch to remember my dad as he had left me some money. The compassion was so lovely and hearfelt.
There wasn’t any pressure into extending warrenty and we left feeling as though the experience, although tinged with a sad reason, was a really memorable one.

Attentive staff in your store at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. Excellent service and customer care….
The piece of jewellery ordered was delivered within a day and within a minute of the time slot…..excellent service by DPD.Well done to all.

Mappin & Webbp, Lakeside

The Mappin & Webb staff in their Lakeside store were amazing. Helpful, attentive and knowledgeable in the products they sell. A definite 10/10 for customer service which seems to be lacking these days. They certainly display the reason to visit a store as opposed to buying online.

I’ve found Goldsmiths have always been very helpful, they were honest with what my purchase could & couldn’t do . Not how some retailers would try and cover up anything that doesn’t suit you or work as you would like.

Team Welwyn - Wonderful Experience

The Goldsmiths Welwyn team are simply wonderful - in particular Sam and Jerome. We recently bought a Tagheur watch for our son’s 21st birthday and asked if we could organise to bring him in as a surprise and gift it to him. We arrived on the agreed day as a surprise for our son and Sam had organised balloons, a birthday card, chocolate and an entire fitting experience. Both Sam and Jerome are wonderful, fun, personable and genuinely caring people who wanted to make this a memorable moment for us all. They certainly did! They went above and beyond and we will definitely be recommending them and returning for future purchases. Thank you Sam, Jerome and Team Goldsmiths Welwyn!

Made so special by Claire

Went to goldsmiths in Lincoln where we were assisted by the lovely Claire.
We are still talking about her. An absolute credit to goldsmiths a real asset to your team.
We made 2 purchases, we had not intended to buy anything. So happy we did as she made our day.
