Paul Rudd

Paul Rudd (born April 6, 1969) is a Golden Globe-nominated American actor known for his roles in comedy films and for playing Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Born in Passaic, N.J., he attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and had a few small television roles before making an impression in “Clueless” in 1995. He continued appearing in smaller roles in films such as “Cider House Rules” before breaking through as a major force in comedy in the early 2000s, starting with “Wet Hot American Summer” and going on to work with Judd Apatow in popular films such as “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” “Knocked Up” and “This Is 40.” He continued to ride the comedy wave with “I Love You Man” and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.” After appearing in the first “Ant-Man” film, Rudd returned to the MCU for “Captain America: Civil War,” “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” the mega-hit “Avengers: Endgame” and "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania." Rudd also had roles in “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” and “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.” On television, he appeared on shows including “Friends,” “Reno 911!,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Party Down” and “The Shrink Next Door.” He has also appeared in several Broadway plays and voiced animated films including “The Bobs Burgers Movie” and “Sausage Party.”
