The Expanding Our Movement Fund allows greater access to free and discounted VBSR memberships, leading-edge educational programming, and values-driven leadership development.

VBSR delivers trainings, peer learning circles, and other educational programming to business leaders and changemakers across Vermont.

Free and discounted educational programming for:

Equitably compensating professional educators
Bringing national leaders and learnings to Vermont’s
business community

VBSR has long served as the innovative voice on business issues and the business voice on pressing issues. We have led many legislative successes including Farm to Plate, marriage equality, Ban the Box, earned paid sick leave, child care, the Global Warming Solutions Act, clean water, home solar, and more.

Free, public educational events on critical policy issues
Research and community consultation to inform legislation
Organizing businesses for advocacy and collective action

Through a variety of programs, VBSR provides opportunities that draw on the legacy of Vermont’s visionary business leaders and our growing network for leadership development, showcasing thought leadership, and access to networks of influence for emerging leaders.

Providing free and discounted memberships to students, start-ups, small and rural businesses, nonprofits, BIPOC-led businesses, and LGBTQ+ supporting organizations
Connecting UVM Sustainable Innovation MBA graduate students with VBSR members to explore the leading-edge of sustainable business through projects and practicums
Leadership development programming for early and mid-career changemakers
