We encourage all of our people to consider how they can deliver meaningful and impactful outcomes through their day-to-day work. As such, we support them to help build the capacity of the not-for-profit and social enterprise sectors as part of their career path.
They can do this by:
Volunteering - We collaborate with not-for-profits, Australian registered charities and social enterprises with a clear charitable purpose. These include, organisations aligned to PwC's Impact Areas, as well as other causes our people care about through community and skilled volunteering opportunities.
Mentoring - We support mentoring programs from a variety of organisations, who work with school students through to social entrepreneurs and business owners.
Championing issues - Our employee networks are aligned to the firm's Impact Areas and causes our people care about so that we can drive real change across the firm. Networks include our Social Impact Champions, Green Team, Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Groups and Inclusion networks.
How does volunteering work?
Our volunteering program enables our people to utilise their time and skills to help solve important problems faced by the communities in which we live and work. We empower our people to contribute to these programs using Social Impact Time. Whilst it isn’t mandatory, Social Impact Time is something our people are encouraged to participate in because we know that the challenges faced by our community are best solved together.
Do you have an opportunity?
As a not-for-profit organisation, registered charity, or social enterprise, you have the opportunity to request volunteers from PwC Australia in a skilled (eg, Review of website/communications) or unskilled (eg, Tree planting) capacity. By registering your organisation and submitting a Volunteer Request, you confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of the organisation and that you have read and accepted the privacy collection statement.
