Welcome to Gila River Development (GRD), formerly known as Wild Horse Pass Development Authority (WHPDA), proudly owned by the Gila River Indian Community. We are located in the Wild Horse Pass area.

Our mission is to curate unforgettable experiences and drive economic prosperity within and beyond the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC). Our focus lies in developing the Wild Horse Pass area, which encompasses 3,300 acres of land, and a mixed-use development area on the Gila River Indian Community land.

We manage a range of businesses and enterprises, including the Rawhide Western Town & Event Center, Gila River Outdoor (GRO), Firebird Motorsports Park, Wild Horse Pass Presents, and Gila Gas & Goods by Gila River Business Enterprises.

Our goal is to create economic opportunities for the GRIC while preserving cultural heritage and promoting sustainable growth.
