MACON, Ga. — And yet another heat advisory has been issued for Saturday for all counties in central Georgia, with feels-like temperatures expected to return near 108. However, increased rain chances in the afternoon and evening could cool us down for a brief moment.
The afternoon should start off like a typical summer day with thunderstorms popping up across our area. By the late afternoon and evening, there is an increased chance of widespread downpours and thunderstorms. This would provide even more relief to our drought. Some of these thunderstorms could have gusty winds and lightning. Our severe chances are low for the moment.
