In his sixth season, Courtland Sutton finished as the WR32, driven by a career-high 10 receiving touchdowns. (He had never caught more than six touchdowns in a season.) Jerry Jeudy was traded to the Browns, so that leaves Sutton as the no-brainer top option for rookie Bo Nix, who seems to be winning the starting job. As it stands, Sutton looks like the best receiving option in what’s shaping up to be a below average passing attack, but someone has to catch the ball and Sutton is a proven producer.

Fantasy Impact:

The post went on to say the Broncos are currently exploring trade possibilities for Patrick, who is generating strong interest on market in advance of Tuesday’s roster cutdown deadline. This move could be good news for players like Reynolds, Mims and the rookie Franklin. It wasn't that long ago that some who follow the team suggested Franklin wouldn't have a big role but that could change with the departure of Patrick, and if he can win the WR3 job. Sutton and Reynolds seem pretty locked into the top-two spots.

Marvin Mims, Josh Reynolds, Troy Franklin, and Tim Patrick have no chance of dethroning Sutton as the Broncos' WR1. There's a good chance he actually builds upon the 18.7% target share and first-read rate (23.2%) he experienced last year, which both ranked around the WR40. We shouldn't expect a week-winning games, but he profiles as a solid WR3/4 fantasy option.
