In his age-31 season, Keenan Allen averaged a career-high 95.6 yards per game, catching 108 passes for 1,243 yards (his most since 2017) and seven touchdowns. And he did it all in 13 games played. He finished WR8 and was the WR3 on a per-game basis, so he's still very much in his prime, though he has missed 11 games in the last two seasons. Since he's playing with a new quarterback in Chicago alongside entrenched WR1 D.J. Moore, Allen's fantasy value is taking a hit as he joins the Bears. He could still post WR2 numbers if he’s able to stay healthy.

Bears WR Rome Odunze to get MRI on knee

Bears rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze played his first regular season game on Sunday and he’s having his first regular season MRI on Monday.

Head coach Matt Eberflus told reporters at his Monday press conference that the first-round pick is going to have imaging done on his knee.

Fantasy Impact:

Odunze caught one pass for 11 yards in Sunday’s win over the Titans but he played 43 of the team’s 56 offensive snaps. The story went on to say Eberflus said it’s not clear when the injury happened as Odunze played through the end of the game, but whatever issue he reported was serious enough to send him for tests. The story added the Bears are in Houston for Sunday Night Football in Week 2, but we may not know until later this week about Oduzne and his status.

CHI WR Keenan Allen - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Tennessee Titans
Allen might be aging up to and throwing the WR age curve, but he still looks great when he's on the field. The team clearly has long-term visions of Williams and Odunze growing together, but Allen could go a long way in furthering the rookie quarterback in Year 1. Allen's years as a WR1 in fantasy are behind him, but if this offense is cooking the way it looks like it could, he could easily be a top-30 Week 1 option.
