Teenage boy charged and another on the run after alleged stabbing at bus station in Queensland

A 15-year-old boy from Forest Glen on the Sunshine Coast has been charged and another remains on the run after an alleged assault in Maroochydore.
Queensland Police say officers attended the scene at Maroochydore bus station following reports of an alleged altercation between two boys and a man around 2.45pm on August 19.
The Maroochydore man, aged 45, had been kicked in the head and stabbed in the thigh.
He was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the two boys and the injured man are not known to each other.
One of the boys fled the scene while another was located at a property on Bungama Street, Maroochydore, around 8.30pm.
The boy was apprehended and charged with one count each of common assault and wounding.
He has been refused bail and is set to appear in Maroochydore's Children's Court today, August 20.
Police continue to search for the second boy allegedly involved in the assault.
