Sydney has been named the best city in the world to live, by a survey conducted by Brand Finance.
The inaugural Brand Finance City Index surveyed 15,000 people around the world about the best cities based on seven key dimensions.
While Sydney topped the list of best cities to live, its position in other fields put it at fifth overall.

Boston placed 20th on the list. The city's ranking reflects the many top universities there, including Harvard and MIT.
Milan placed 19th on the list. The city in Northern Italy is famed for its high culture and fashion scene.
Berlin was 18th on the list.
Participants of the survey were asked about the best cities to live, study, visit and invest in. They were also asked about a city's global significance, ease of doing business and economic stability.
Zurich was ranked highest in the world as the best city in the world to work locally, work remotely, invest, and retire.
But it was marked harshly on the familiarity rankings, and ended up in 17th place overall as a result.
Melbourne was the only other city from Australia to make the top 50.
The only other Australian city in the top 100 was Perth, at 52nd.
Chicago went from being a small town to a major metropolis in the 1800s on the back of the cattle industry, but has since developed into a centre of finance and commerce.
Rome's extraordinary cultural landmarks and remarkable history allowed it to score high on the list.
Barcelona is famed for its beaches, culture and its famed cathedral, which dominates the skyline.
The Spanish city was 13th on the list.
Toronto placed 12th on the list.
Aside from the occasional hurricane, Miami is famed for its gorgeous weather and beautiful beaches.
But the city is also thriving as both a tourist destination and a business hub.
Tenth on the list is Amsterdam, beloved for its rich cultural heritage and the ease of getting around town by bicycle.
Dubai ranked number one for future growth potential and third as a city of global significance.
Overall it ranked ninth.
There's a strong chance many of the websites you frequent are based in the San Francisco Bay area.
But the city is also a beloved tourist destination and cultural centre.
Tokyo ranks first as the global leader in science and technology, and seventh overall.
Singapore ranked highly because of its cleanliness and its status as a business startup hub.
As well as ranking first as the best city to live in Sydney, also ranks highly as a city to work, study and retire in.
It's also considered the fifth best place to visit.
Los Angeles is more than just Hollywood, though the city thrives on people going there to see someone famous, or to become someone famous themselves.
Paris rated number one in the culture and heritage section, thanks to its beautiful architecture, great museums and galleries, and great theatres and music venues.
Its familiarity and high ranking as a city to visit led to its number three spot.
New York was voted number one in "city of global significance".
It also featured very highly as a study, investment and tourist destination.
Those rankings made it very close to the top spot.
London topped the list after ranking first in two metrics, best place to visit and best place to study.
It made the top four in every other category.
