Search for group after man found dead alongside several knives in Melbourne park

A manhunt is under way for a group seen running from a park in Melbourne where a man was found dead yesterday morning.
Kioyom Athum, 28, was found critically injured just metres from his home at Balmoral Park in Derrimut about 4.20am.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate him but he died at the scene.

Detective inspector Dean Thomas said Athum appeared to have been stabbed, while multiple knives were found at the park.
"What we do know is that the deceased male was last seen around 9pm in the Derrimut area by his sister in the company of three males," he said at a press conference today.
What happened between 9pm on Friday and 4.20am yesterday, and who he was with, will form part of the investigation.

Thomas said multiple people were seen to have run from the park.
