A distinctive Holden Commodore that was the personal company car of motorsports legend Peter Brock has not managed to find a new home after an online auction ended with the car unsold.
The Holden Commodore (VK) SS HDT Group A was offered through Collecting Cars.
With just over a day to go, bids had reached $380,000. Bidding closed on Thursday afternoon.
9news.com.au has contacted the auctioneers to ask what might come next for the iconic car - which you can see more of in the following slides.
"It is certified by an HDT letter as initially being Peter Brock's personal company car, signed by his long-time teammate, the late John Harvey," Collecting Cars said.
"The light blue interior retains its factory-fitted Scheel front sports seats trimmed to match the rear bench with velour bolsters and patterned cloth centres."
The car also includes a Peter Brock-branded cassette player and a leather-trimmed Momo steering wheel.
"Undoubtedly one of the world's most desirable 'Blue Meanies' given its provenance, it will make a significant addition to any collection," the auctioneers said.
It's powered by a 4.9-litre A9L V8 engine.
Collecting Cars called the Commodore, with its distinctive blue finish, "a sought-after homologation special performance saloon and a notable part of Australian motorsport history".
Overall, the car has had four owners.
There 79,724km on the odometer.
Brock, one of Australia's greatest motorsports stars, was largely associated with Holden through his glittering career.
