A bus driver has been charged with manslaughter after a pedestrian was killed in a collision in South Brisbane in June.
The CityGlider bus was travelling on Melbourne Street after 11.30pm on June 28 when it struck a man walking at the intersection of Cordelia Street.
First responders declared the man, aged in his 40s, dead.
The ten passengers in the bus at the time were not injured.
Today, police charged a 59-year-old man from North Lakes with manslaughter.
He was refused bail and will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court this afternoon.
