Two children missing in northern Queensland

Two young children are missing in northern Queensland, with fears for their safety.
Police have appealed for public help in finding an 11-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy who have been missing from Mareeba since Thursday, May 30.
The children are known to each other, police said.

They are believed to be in the Cairns or Tablelands area.
Police are concerned for their welfare due to their age.
The children are Caucasian in appearance and are of slim build.
The girl is about 1.5 metres tall with brown hair and green eyes, and the boy is 1.45 metres tall with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Anybody with information is urged to contact police on 131 444.
