Arkansas Razorbacks Football

The Arkansas Razorbacks football team is preparing for the 2024 season with optimism and aspirations of retooling under a rough previous season.

In the 2023 season, the Razorbacks finished with a disappointing 4-8 overall record and a brutal 1-7 record in SEC play under the guidance of head coach Sam Pittman.

This marked a significant step back from previous years and recent success that Coach Pittman had built in the Razorback program. However, the 2021 and 2022 seasons combined for 16 total wins, which was the highest total mark in a two-year span for the Razorbacks in over a decade.

As the team enters the 2024 season, Coach Pittman will look to get back to 2021-2022 form. However, the Razorbacks will have their work cut out for them as star quarterback KJ Jefferson hit the transfer portal and is on his way to UCF this upcoming fall.

With a more manageable schedule and a strong foundation in place, the team is optimistic about the potential for another successful campaign. Coach Sam Pittman's emphasis on building a resilient and competitive team should play a pivotal role in the Razorbacks' performance throughout the season.

Betting on Arkansas

Below, we’ll discuss your traditional week-to-week markets such as moneylines, point spreads and totals (also known as an over/under).

Additionally, you can wager on Arkansas Razorback football team this upcoming season on a number of futures markets. You can bet on Arkasnsas to win its first SEC Championship.

Arkansas or college football fans can also wager on their college football win total, which is coming in at 5.5 on most prominent online sportsbooks.

Arkansas Razorbacks Point Spreads

"Covering the spread " is a reference to a spread bet, which is a bet on how much a team will win the game by.

Here’s how a Razorbacks spread might look:

  • Arkansas +9.5 (-110)
  • Alabama -9.5 (-110)

If the Razorbacks win 24-21, they’re winners ATS, since they need to win or lose by 9 points or fewer to cash spread tickets. Alabama, on the other hand, can cover with a win of 10 or more points.

Arkansas Razorbacks Over/Unders

Oddsmakers set the total at how many points they think will be scored, so it could be 47 for a game against Alabama, for example. If you took the under, a 24-21 final means your bet pays off no matter who wins the game. If you bet over, you’d need there to be at least 48 points scored between the two teams. Ties on the bet are possible, and they result in refunds.

Arkansas Razorbacks Moneylines

Moneyline odds take into account how likely a team is to win the game and adjust payouts accordingly, a winning record doesn’t always mean a profit.

Arkansas defeating Missouri as a -300 favorite is fine, but a $30 bet pays out just $10. If you’re able to catch the Razorbacks as a +300 underdog, though, a $10 bet on them profits $30. These bets are simplest to understand with $10 or $100 as a unit, but the math is the same regardless.

Arkansas Razorbacks Props

Player props are bets on the stats put up by a player for a single game. You could bet on players' rushing or passing stats.

Arkansas Razorbacks Futures

While they’re flying a little under the radar thanks to sharing the SEC with Alabama and Georgia. If you think they’re going to win the conference, you can put your money down on a futures bet.

Futures are wagers that settle at the end of the season, and besides odds to win the conference, popular futures bets include players' odds to win certain end-of-season awards or over/unders on team wins throughout the year.
