Tyreek Hill Suffers Ankle Injury Against Titans

UPDATE: Tyreek Hill returned midway through the third quarter after missing three drives following his ankle injury.

Tyreek Hill’s in the midst of arguably the greatest season by a wide receiver in history. Unfortunately, the heavy favorite for the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year Award injured his ankle after he went down awkwardly on a pass play that lost six yards.

Hill rolled around in pain, but popped up and ran to the sideline. However, he spent a few moments in the blue medical tent before returning to the sideline without his helmet. The team eventually announced he was questionable to return.

Hill led the league in receiving yards (1,481) and receiving touchdowns (12), and ranked fourth with 93 catches through the first 13 weeks of the season. He was also on pace to break Calvin Johnson’s single-season record for receiving yards (1,964), needing to average 96.6 yards per game over the final five weeks of the season.

The speedy wideout entered the game with the fifth-best odds to win MVP (+1300), and had an outside shot of becoming the first non-quarterback to win the award since Adrian Peterson in 2012. Hill trails Dak Prescott (+150), Brock Purdy (+200), Lamar Jackson (+550) and Jalen Hurts (+650).

Meanwhile, Miami was tied with the Baltimore Ravens with the second-shortest odds to win the Super Bowl (+600) prior to kickoff. The San Francisco 49ers are the favorites at +235.

As far as betting markets are concerned on a game-to-game basis, Action Network's Sean Koerner says Hill is worth 1.5-2 points to the spread.
