How much makeup do you actually wear on your nose? Probably not that much compared to your lips, cheeks, and eyes. You might cover it with some foundation and powder, contour it, or even dot a few faux freckles on it from time to time — but let's be honest, the nose is not something we usually draw a whole lot of attention to. The Internet is looking to change that, though, with a new wave of makeup looks that showcase the nose in an entirely new way.

We're not talking about the simple act of applying highlighter or blush to the tip of the nose. This new makeup trend goes all out with vibrant eye shadow and liners applied in beautiful ways around the tip, bridge, sides, and event the nostrils. Below, see just a few of our favorite takes on this new method. After seeing them, you might look at your makeup — and your nose — in a completely different light.

This look created by @jaelene_mua proves that nostrils are highly underrated when it comes to makeup. If you're looking for a new look to experiment with, grab a few vivid eyeliner pencils and draw small lines reaching outward from your nostrils.

Bridged gaps

This green look from user @sounthie showcases an easy yet effective way to incorporate the nose into your makeup. Simply use eye shadow to connect the space between your eyes.
