Purchased this for my 10 year old grandson to use with his game, very complicated to add to his account, he definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it by himself maths calculations that an adult ran out of time to do, had to use the music instead

Not a scam, but NOT a £10 gift card as advertised!

This is NOT the same as buying a normal gift card to add credit to your account! It is advertised as £10, but it automatically converts it to the minimum available number of Robux for that value (valued at £9.99) and there is no option to combine these, so they make a completely awful gift.

The 1p is NOT the issue and this restriction might not be an issue for some, but my 9 year old had a few of the physical cards from friends and family from Christmas and her birthday and was smart enough to notice that there was a large step up from her £40 of credit to the £50 level (2x£19.99 = 3400robux versus £49.99 = 4500robux), so asked if she gave me £10 of her birthday money could I add £10 to her account and then she'd get the 1100 extra Robux once the £49.99 package was purchased.

This "card" does not allow this; once the code is redeemed, it does not credit your account with £10 as a gift card would - it is locked to the 800 Robux, so it should not be advertised as a £10 gift card, which implies a level of choice as to what the £10 credit could be spent on with Roblox.

I just bought this, here are my thoughts:

-reminder this is an E-gift card and will be sent to your email, it is NOT a physical gift card so, for those whom are buying this as a gift for others I don’t recommend buying this.

-For those who just recently bought this, I waited around an hour to get the code, I saw on some other reviews it was super quick, but don’t worry patience is the key, (ps my heart almost dropped after waiting 15 mins to get the code but after waiting a little while I received an email, so worry not)

-The code redeeming worked fine for me and went smoothly

-Robux is EXTREMELY expensive and no matter how much you have can be GONE in a matter of time.
-I bought the £20 one which is 1,700 ROBUX and I bought a few gamepasses ( which average GAMEPASSES costs 200-300+ ROBUX u do the math), and you just cant get away buying 1 gamepass to get the full experience of a game but u at least have to buy 2 which is around already 400-600+ which is literally already 1/4 or HALF of the ROBUX you bought

-Roblox items are too expensive

Other:
-I recommend not splurging, because I have bought a few items in-game before and not being able to use them as much now because I either don’t play the game anymore and other reasons, so before buying items in Roblox make sure to give it deep thought

Some of the comments I made are my own opinions and experience of not being able to access ROBUX like every single day, but it usually depends on the situation, so please do not take it to heart and just see it as another point of view of a person who has played Roblox for years.

Daughter loves the game. These gift cards are a great thing to reward your child with for school achievements etc. She enjoys saving the points and working out what points she's spending and what's left.
Definitely a good way to introduce children to money and saving.
