Good Value for Money - Only very small design issues
I compared this model to a cheaper alternative that was £35 (see first photograph). I am happy to say this one excelled in comparison. There was much less noise, the picture quality is better and you can see a lot further with it's infra-red. The second photograph is a screenshot from some footage taken off this camera, the third (with the time stamp) is the cheaper model. I solely will be using these cameras for their night-vision videography so that's what my review is based upon. If it continues to get great results I may consider more for a future TV series I am currently working on.The Good Bits:It takes 8 AA batteries vs the 4 on the other one. Although this seems like a con at first it definitely lasts a lot longer - so less battery changes! Combine this with rechargeable batteries and its a win win. The video feed is a much wider 1920 x 1080 which is standard nowadays - but cheaper versions you will have to crop into the already bad video quality.The Flaws:The main one for me is that the screen is on the back of the swinging door. Because of this, you have to sort of peak into the camera whilst the door is still open to get a glimpse of a camera angle. This angle is then ruined when you close the door as obviously, by closing it, you have just altered the camera angle... Unlike its competitors, a lot of other camera brands have the screen on the inside or on the outside directly like the comparison model. This allows you to view the precise angle with 100% accuracy. So bare this in mind if looking to buy this camera.Another flaw is that if you want to use the screw mount on the bottom with a tripod, its simply not doable. If you look at my last photograph, you will see that there is plastic blocking the screw so it will not sit flush and could potentially damage the product.The last thing is that I would like to see cameras like this produce .mp4 files over the outdated .AVI files as .avi disrupts workflows for video editors etc. However, if you're just browsing on your laptop then you should be fine - although may need some software to run this outdated codec.In terms of successfully activating at the right time to get shots Id say this is 60-70% accurate. Although this is for my specific garden and may be much more accurate in different conditions. I often saw the back end of a fox or an animal just about to walk off-frame. I will be fiddling with my settings to tune this further.Overall the video quality of this camera is excellent for a trap camera. If you're mounting to trees with not much care for the precise camera angle, then this camera is 100% for you. It's a great price and arguably has better quality than some of the most expensive brands out there and is miles better than cheaper alternatives.I hope you found this review helpfulThanks!

 I don't normally leave a review on a product unless it is an exceptional product. This camera is exceptional and incredible value for money. Over the last few years I've had lots of trail cams, this one is easily the best one I've had, I was recommend this camera by a friend and I'm so glad I took his advice.

It is very easy to set up, the menus are very clear and easy to read, you don't need to read the instructions as it's all pretty straight forward.

I got the camera to film our local wildlife and the quality, as you can see, is just amazing, I just wish I could add more videos as I have so many to choose from. The night vision is excellent too, very clear and I've managed to film our foxes and hedgehogs which is exactly what I wanted it for.

If you're in the market for a trail cam, buy this one, you won't be disappointed.

EDIT: I've just ordered another one this morning :)

 I wanted to see if I'd got a resident hedgehog in my garden, and, thanks to this trail cam, I discovered I have! It was brilliant to capture it going into the purpose-built hedgehog house (plastic crate, wide tube, gaffer tape), where it could get at its hedgehog food without it being eaten by cats.

The camera has loads of options to adjust sensitivity and video quality, which you can play with until you get the desired result. Higher quality will take up more memory card space and use more battery life. It's a bit trial and error, and some nights you'll probably end up with nothing, depending on where you put it. I'd also caution against putting it near any plants on a windy night, as the moving foliage will just keep triggering the sensor, and more importantly, wear the batteries out. It does have a DC input, which might be useful if you have a garden with an electricity point and an extension cable, as the batteries do run out with heavy, full-on use. But if you get the right setting so it's triggered only for, say, a minute at a time when animals pass - and then also set the interval time between triggers, so it's not coming on constantly - the batteries should last a fair few hours over many nights.

It links with your phone, which is good, although the images/videos can take a fair while to download on to it, and the cam does need to be within wifi range to get the live view, so if it's at the back of your garden it probably won't connect.

The picture is sharp and good quality - I think this camera is good value for the price, so would recommend.

The camera arrived on time with an SD card already loaded. The instructions are easy to follow and it comes with both a strap and an adjustable bracket to attach to a tree, post etc. I'm using the strap but will try the bracket when I'm familiar with the camera positioning, sensitivity etc.
I'm using it to monitor a hedgehog feeding station in my garden and last night was the first night. With the settings and position I used initially it did not puck.up the hedgehogs but it was set off by and recorded a cat.
I'sld set the video quality to HD and, considering it was night time and illuminated by the IR lamps the picture was clear.
It will take some repositioning and settings experimentation to achieve the monitoring I want but it's looking good so far.

 I bought this camera to see if I could get some night shots of the local foxes in my garden. Seems to be a well made product. Easy to understand instructions explaining options available from menu. Photo, Video or photo plus video. The length and quality of the video can be selected from menu. Loaded batteries and inserted memory card ( not supplied). Set up all the functions from the menu. Attached it to my shed with the supplied mounting bracket. Everything worked exactly as described. After leaving the camera overnight I got several videos. Lots of cats, but I got some excellent shots of the foxes. Am very pleased with this product as it may be basic but it was cheap and well made and does what I bought it for. Looking forward to more night shots of Mr Fox.

 We were having problems with deer eating our trees, berries and garden on our 1 acre lot. We needed to know where and how they were getting in, so I bought one of these cameras and used it in video mode to see when and where they were getting into the garden. Then I bought another one to check on their route in and out of the property. If my spouse let me, I'd buy 6 of them. No more guessing how old the deer poop is and whether that leaf was gone yesterday or not. With this camera you can see their faces. We got to know exactly who and what is in our yard at night (a lot more than I imagined!).

-- They work! The motion detection seems to work well. Don't point it at a busy road if you value your batteries. It will pile up video after video...
-- This camera works with an app for downloading and viewing the videos. Not all cameras have this feature, so buyer beware. Once the camera is connected to your device the first time, it is easy to reconnect. You can share from the app so there is never a need to remove the tiny memory card.
-- The image quality is good if the target is say 8 to 50 feet away. Any closer and the image gets fuzzy. Any further and the IR illuminator doesn't reach.

The Bad:
-- The batteries that come with the camera don't last long. Don't buy this for the batteries.
-- There is a temperature stamp on the video that's just plain wrong.
-- Connecting and downloading videos takes a while. About a minute to connect and a minute per 20 sec video to download.
-- I wish the IR illumination was a wider angle. The field of view is fairly narrow.
-- There is a usb connection but it doesn't seem to do anything. I'd like to download to my laptop but the app only works on tablets and phones. So download to my ipad and email videos to myself. Not ideal.

All in all I'm quite pleased. We now have a fence that works to keep the deer out, in part because we could monitor their behavior. And it's really interesting to see what all is out there at night.

Die Wildkamera ist gut verarbeitet.
Die Bildqualität ist super - sowohl bei Licht in Farbe - als auch bei Dunkelheit in Schwarz/Weiß.
Die Akkus halten sehr lange:
Nach 2 Monaten Überwachungsbetrieb und fast täglicher Kontrolle entweder per WLAN oder direkt am Gerät war die Akku-Leistung immer noch nicht aufgebreaucht.
Der Sensor ist empfindlich und löst schon bei wenig Bewegung schnell aus.
Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und auch die Kopplung per WLAN funktioniert gut.
Die Smartphonapp ist ebenfalls gut und intuitiv bedienbar.
Einziges Manko: Die WLAN-Reichweite ist nicht sehr groß.
Von innen konnte aber durch eine Mauer dennoch die ca. 5m entfernte Kamera verbunden werden.
