I was nervous buying something from Amazon that hadn't been reviewed yet, but the price was great and I didn't want to spend more money on expensive versions of a collapsible water bottle when I wasn't yet sure if it was something that would work for me.

Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. I was able to take all four bottles in my carryon without taking up much space, and once past security I distributed them to my family members that were traveling with me so everyone could have their own bottle. Very convenient. Now I use just one of them day to day, and it's pretty sturdy and I recently discovered it stands up on its own which is nice.

My one complaint is that the plastic caps that are attached to cover the sport nozzles are hard to lock into place - you have to really press hard. Otherwise if you toss the bottle in your bag it will leak. One of the four bottles even leaked a little even when I was sure I had it closed. I just used that one only by clipping it to my bag handle and it was fine. If I were buying again for a more serious trip and had more money to spend, I'd buy one of the bottles that are more easy to open and close with better quality caps. Otherwise this worked fine.

I really wanted to like these bottles, but I just can't do it. The sport tops on all 4 of my bottles leak to some degree. Two are a slow drip and two are a steady stream. The rest of the bottle seems well constructed, but it looks like they cheaped out on the sport tops. Given how many other bottles have sport tops that don't leak, this was the last part of these bottles that I expected to have a problem. I am disappointed to have to return these.
