Arms a little tight but otherwise perfect!
I ordered this dress in XL in white but it came in black. The arms in black fit but were a little bit tight. When I re-ordered to get the white, I went up to the 1xl and the arms fit much better. I was more happy with the fit of the chest in the xl than the 1x as the 1x was a little loose. I'm a B cup and weigh around 220lbs. This dress is meant to be loose though, so I think it still works. I may end up keeping the smaller black one as it's super cute and something I could wear more year-round with tights. It was perfect for the even and very comfortable even in upper 80-degree weather. I'm 5'5'' and I wore shorts under as it's a bit short when I bent over, but it was definitely long enough to wear as a dress. I got so many compliments- definitely worth the order!

Con: Not 100% cotton as stated. Dress has a sewn in tag that reads "70% Rayon 30% Polyester.
The dress is a least 5 inches above my knee. Hits mid-thigh. I'm 5'5" and the dress (more like a tunic") is to short for me and only wearable with leggings.
I'm keeping it and will wear it with leggings and ankle boots.

The color is true to the photo, the fabric is lightweight and breathable enough to wear on a summer day (indoors, I wouldn’t go to an outdoor venue in 90 degree weather wearing anything with sleeves), and it is not see through at all. The embroidery is very pretty so I decided to keep it despite having an odd fit. The upper arms ended up being a bit weird on me, so the whole dress slides up a little when I lift my arms. It’s not the worst case of this I’ve had, but it’s something to keep in mind if you have thicker upper arms. The sleeves are a bit tight in the armpit as well and the chest feels a little bit snug, but nothing terrible. The tightness isn’t very obvious to other people, and I can still wear this without too much discomfort. Unfortunately I did size up to combat the issues I saw in some reviews, but it ended up still being a little tight in random areas.

I have a love/hate relationship with the length too. I have to wear shorts or tights under it because it’s easy to accidentally show too much if you bend down 😅

I do like this dress still. It’s quite different from things I usually see, so I’m going to keep it! Just bear in mind that it may not be the most comfy dress you’ve owned.

This is a gorgeous spring summer dress. It's very feminine, and absolutely beautiful! I got it in green. This kind of green is my favorite color. About sizing. I am 140lbs, 5'3", size 6, small, 36C. My breast circumference is 39", waist 33", and hips 38". So if you look at the size chart they provide then it's absolutely unclear what size I should get, because according to it XL. What I am trying to say, DO NOT GO by the size chart. I wear size small so I got this dress in small and it fits me great. I absolutely agree with other reviewers: it fits pretty snugly at chest so if you have a big breast you should get maybe a bigger size or not get it at all. My 36C fits just right, but if I were a little bigger it wouldn't fit. Being 5,3" it hits me around mid thigh. I attached couple of pictures. It does have an undershirt, so it's not see through, which is nice. I really love thos dress!!!

I am not really tall (5 3), but the dress is so short on me and although the inner layer does not show my underwear, its shorter than the dress itself, so which any bending or sitting, everything is exposed! I can see wearing this during a beach vacation maybe....but can never wear this anywhere else!
