I had mysteriously lost power to some house rooms and could not find a cause. I had called another company but they failed to reply and I called this company. They arrived within an hour and immediately found my problem was a bad utility service line that was worn and frayed. He recommended I call the utility rather than pay him for the repair, but he restored my full service before he left and only charged me a service call fee. The utility did come that same day and replaced the service line free of charge. I was so impressed with this company I had him return a few days later to replace a half dozen standard garage outlets with GFI outlets and replace an electric line it appeared the prior owner did - very poorly. He also replaced another amatuer connection for the garage door opener and replaced a cheap garage ceiling work light with a beautiful new system that now lights my entire garage. For the quality of work and price I was very pleased and plan to use him again for more upgrades to my older house

Mendel Plumbing and Heating
We lost half of our electric power at 8 pm on the coldest day of winter. The power to the furnac went out. Lights were flickering. Very unusual and somewhat frightening . We checked the. Circuits and gfi s and couldn't find anything that would cause this. We called Mendel and they called us back right away to find out what our problem was. They had an electrician who was already out on an after hour call contact us. He assured us that he would come right over because of our lack of heat and then return to his non emergency call. Mike from Mendel was true to his word . He promptly came to our house and diagnosed the problem quickly and temporarily restored power to us.( it was temporary because a city cable was the culprit) The problem wasa city elecrtrical cable problem which he contacted the city about. This cut through a lot of red tape and made arrangements for the city to come out . The city electric crew did promptly come out and provide a temporary fix which they made permanent on the following Monday. Mendel's courteous and professional response was a real life saver. It was such a pleasant and reassuring experience having Mike and Mendel resolve this serious problem for us in such a prompt manner. They are the. Best. Bob and Mary Jane

Omar came out within an hour of our call when we lost power due to a failed main circuit breaker. He got us up and running, and as the panel was old, we decided to replace the whole thing. Scheduled the service for the next day. The technician was on time and worked in the cold basement (no power = no heat!) without a break until the job was done - even with offers of coffee! Very happy with the service and price

ELECTRICAL CONCEPTS
We noticed a burning smell and the main circuit breaker to the house was hot to the touch. We called several companies, but Electrical Concepts was the only one who could respond immediately. They told us they would be there within the hour and they were. They performed the work in a professional manner. Due to a mathematical error we overpaid and they noticed the error and mailed us a check for the difference. Our only complaint is that they had to leave to pick up a part and due to traffic this took a long time and resulted in a higher labor charge

I can't say enough about Scott Nelson and his company, Scott Nelson Electric. Scott recently did work installing a GFI receptacle near our pier to allow us to safely transmit power to our boat lift. The work was done quickly and well -- but on our first visit to the house, an intermittent short unrelated to Scott's work had caused a loss of power, leaving us unable to operate the lift. I called Scott on a Saturday -- and he was out within 30 minutes to help solve the problem. He's extremely knowledgeable, personable, and has truly outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend him and look forward to using him on other projects
