Champions League semi-final is a sell out!

Before Arsenal's Women's Champions League quarter-final

We’re delighted to confirm our UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Wolfsburg at Emirates Stadium on Monday, May 1 has now sold out, with more than 60,000 tickets purchased for the game.

The tie is finely poised following a 2-2 draw in Germany on Sunday, April 23 - and a record crowd is now set to witness Jonas Eidevall’s side compete for a place in the final, to be played in Eindhoven on Saturday, June 3.

Tickets went on sale on the final whistle of our quarter-final victory over Bayern Munich at the Emirates, which itself drew a record UK attendance in the UEFA Women’s Champions League of 21,307.

The sell-out means more than 240,000 tickets have been purchased to watch Arsenal Women at Emirates Stadium this season, with three Barclays Women’s Super League matches and five Champions League games taking place in N5.

We set a new record attendance in the Barclays Women’s Super League when we played Tottenham Hotspur at Emirates Stadium on September 26, 2022, with more than 53,000 tickets sold on that occasion.

“It’s wonderful news that such a huge match for us has sold out,” said Chief Executive Vinai Venkatesham. “We would like to say thank you to our supporters, with all available tickets sold for Monday’s match.

“We also say thank you for your fantastic support throughout the season – at Emirates Stadium, at Meadow Park and at grounds across England and Europe. It promises to be an exciting night in north London and we’re delighted that Jonas and our women’s first team will have the backing of so many supporters on this big occasion in the club’s history.”

Come on you Gunners!
