Did Jose Altuve light a fire under the Astros?

Twice now in the last few weeks, Astros leader Jose Altuve has shown more emotion and frustration than you normally see from him during a game.

It happened a couple of weeks ago in Chicago, when a poor strike zone cost Altuve an at-bat against the White Sox, eventually leading to manager Joe Espada's ejection.

Then it happened again over the weekend when the Astros visited the New York Mets at Citi Field. He fouled a ball off his foot, but again did not get the proper call. So he slammed his helmet to the ground, breaking it, and promptly was ejected.

The Astros are 10-1 since losing that series-opener to the White Sox on June 18. Did Altuve spark a flame under this team?

The Drive with Stoerner & Hughley discusses the idea here.
