Tiki wants Giants to draft Rome Odunze with top pick, still believes in Daniel Jones

As intrigue intensifies of the Giants drafting a quarterback in the first round, Tiki is calling for Joe Schoen and company to go a different route, and try again with Daniel Jones in 2024.

The only quarterback that Tiki would be satisfied with drafting would be Drake Maye, but he doesn’t see Big Blue parting with what it would take to move up to draft the North Carolina product.

“I don’t love any of these quarterbacks, save for one,” Tiki said. “You’re starting to hear the Giants are going to move up to get Drake Maye, and it makes no sense. What the Giants would have to give up make no sense.

“You have a $40 million quarterback on your roster already…who is pretty good when he’s healthy. I know is health is a big thing, but let’s have some faith in Daniel Jones being healthy in this scenario, for argument’s sake.”

Tiki says he believes in Jones to bounce back, learn to stay healthy, and have a big year in 2024, which means his priority is to go out and get a wide receiver with the sixth overall pick, and he has a specific one in mind.

“I am taking Rome Odunze at wide receiver,” Tiki said. “And finally give them that breakout, big-play threat that Daniel Jones has not had consistently yet.

“To me, it feels like a sure bet.”
