Three 19-year-old Columbia men were arrested Wednesday night on marijuana charges after detectives raided a Kings Contrivance apartment, Howard County police said.

Members of the police department’s Street Drug Section served a search and seizure warrant in the 7300 block of Eden Brook Drive about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, based on tips about suspected drug activity there, police said.

Police confiscated marijuana seeds and smoking pipes that officers say were stained with marijuana residue.

Police charged Henry J. Roh, 19, who lives in the apartment, Alexander Kwami Amponsah, of the 9500 block of Patchin Court, and Jason Michael Kranefeld, of the 9300 block Hourtime Lane, with possession of Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All were released on personal recognizance early yesterday morning, a District Court Commissioner said.
