ELEVEN MEMBERS of Cub Scout Pack 663 have been awarded the Arrow of Light, the highest award a Cub Scout can earn. The awards were presented to Kellen Alexander, David Campbell, Jeffrey Fonteneau, Brian LaAsmar, Kris Matsch, Tony McAllister, Patrick Mullen, George Norris, James St. Hilaire, Chuck Snyder and Bobby Yeager during a ceremony at American Legion Post 276 on Quarterfield Road. The post sponsors the Cub pack.
At the same meeting, Webelo Andrew Dobrzykowski was presented with the Youth Religious Award, which is earned through the coordinated efforts of a religious leader, the Scout and his parents.
In addition, Doug Quinn received his Bobcat and Bear badges and Nathaniel Biddle was awarded his Bear badge. Patrick Fulton won a Webelos badge.
The pack meets the third Monday of the month.

Christian women to meet
The Christian German American Women’s Group will meet at noon Monday in the Blue Room of the Chapel Center on Rockenbach Road at Fort Meade. Women interested in German language and culture are welcome to share Christian fellowship and “Heimatmusik.”
A German lunch will be served.

Journey through stories
Master storyteller Len Cabral is back to take listeners on a journey of the imagination.
He will present “Stories of Color from Around the World” at 3: 30 p.m. April 10, at Provinces branch library, 2624 Annapolis Road (Route 175).
Mr. Cabral travels the country, spinning traditional tales from folklore, fables and the ones his great-grandparents brought with them when they emigrated from the Cape Verde Islands.
He is an artist-in-residence at the Rhode Island State Arts Council and co-founder of Sidewalk Storytellers, a children’s theater company.
Mr. Cabral first performed in local library branches in 1990, putting on a 45-minute show of mime, poetry and song.
The program is free and open to anyone over age 6. No registration is required, but seating is limited and available on a first-come, first served basis.
