Howard County police are looking for two men who robbed High’s stores in Columbia last weekend, fleeing with an undetermined amount of money.

In the first robbery, a man wielding a handgun and wearing a black ski mask and dark gloves entered the High’s store in the 6100 block of Cradlerock Way about 10: 40 p.m. Friday.

The man — 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds — approached the store’s two clerks, demanded cash and fled on foot with the money.

About 8: 20 p.m. Sunday, a man wearing a black ski mask and gloves entered the High’s store in the 10800 block of Hickory Ridge Ridge.

The 6-foot man, wearing tan pants and a brown leather jacket, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

He fled on foot, taking the cash.

Police do not believe the two incidents are related but are continuing their investigation.

Metro Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspects in the two robberies.
