Honors: The Expos’ David Segui was named Player of the Week after going 13-for-26 with two homers and eight RBIs and getting a hit in all six games.

Braves: Ryan Klesko’s ninth homer tied Dale Murphy’s team record for April homers. Murphy did it in 1979 and 1985.

Dodgers: Today’s game, featuring starter Chan Ho Park, will be televised in his native South Korea.

Expos: Attendance was 9,778, the fourth time in 10 home dates it has been less than 10,000.

Marlins: Reliever Alejandro Pena’s career is in jeopardy because of a shoulder injury similar to one he suffered more than N NTC decade ago. Pena, 36, plans to see Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala., today for a second opinion on the rotator cuff tear discovered by the team last week. . . . First baseman Greg Colbrunn returned to the lineup. He left Sunday’s game with a headache after being beaned by the Dodgers’ Pedro Astacio. . . . Quilvio Veras, who led the NL in stolen bases last season, improved to 2-for-7 this year with a first-inning steal.

Padres: Wally Joyner sat out the game. Joyner bruised his right rib cage making an over-the-shoulder catch Sunday at Atlanta, and his status is day-to-day.

Reds: Reggie Sanders was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Saturday, because of lower back strain.
