A car struck a school bus carrying 18 Glenwood Middle School students in Woodbine yesterday afternoon, but no one was injured, Howard County police said.
Shortly before 3 p.m. on Florence Road near St. Michael Road, a school bus — driven by Lisa Baker, 29, of Mount Airy — was making its rounds, discharging students, when a 1987 Toyota, driven by Kelly Scible, 16, of Woodbine, struck it in the rear.
Miss Scible, who had three passengers in her car, was charged with the failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision, said Sgt. Steven Keller, a police spokesman.
