UPDATED:

Church, After a summer hiatus, St. Andrew’s Italian Feast has returned for the fall! Come out and join church and community members on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m., at St Andrew’s on route 97, between Union Chapel Road and the Post Office in Glenwood.

The cost will be $9 per person or $30 per family and children age 5 and under are free. Dinner is by Smokin’ Hot Bar & Grille, in the Inwood Shopping Center. Proceeds from this dinner will benefit The Hub, a new after school program at St. Andrew’s for the wider community that is affordable for busy families. This program is enriching for students and beneficial for the entire Western Howard County community.

Research shows that the hours a middle school student spends unsupervised after the school day ends can lead to behaviors that may not be beneficial for the student, their family, or the community. This program is non-religious, so students from all faiths or backgrounds are invited to participate.

The program offers a safe, active, healthy and fun after school environment with volleyball, healthy snacks, kind volunteers, a dedicated director, gaga ball, basketball and a couple of laptops for homework use. For more information about The Hub, please call 410-489-4035 or go to http://standrews.episcopalmaryland.org/after-school-program/.

For more information regarding the feast, contact Lynne Quinn at 410-292-8202 or email at [email protected].
