UPDATED:

The Harford Tech golf team traveled to Patriot’s Glen National Golf Course Wednesday to battle the Elkton Elks on their home course.

Tech prevailed, 218-245, despite only one of the Tech golfers having ever played the course. The course proved to be very challenging with several tight fairways and blind shots, according to Cobras coach Jim Stallings.

The low score for the day was posted by Elkton’s Alex Rosenthal, who shot 38. Tech’s depth, however, proved too much for the Elks. Posting two 42s and two 43s, Tech golfers Chris Stallings, Ryan Shuck, Josh Kopeck and Loy Clements led the way, respectively. Coming in at 48 was Adam Haviland and Noah Lloyd contributed a 49.

Ethan Hauer led CMW with 41, while Matt Smith shot 43. Other CMW scores were Mike Penaherrara, 45; Shawn Wiersbowski, 46; and Zack Aljets, 46.
