Orioles on deck: What to watch Wednesday at Mets, plus lineups, broadcast info and more

UPDATED:

Orioles (18-41) vs. Mets (27-31)

Where: Citi Field, Flushing, N.Y.

First pitch: 1:10 p.m.

TV/Radio: MASN2/105.7 The Fan

Starting pitchers: Orioles RHP Dylan Bundy (3-7, 4.46 ERA) vs. Mets RHP Zack Wheeler (2-4, 5.14 ERA)

What to watch

1. Going for the sweep. The Orioles go for just their fifth series win of the season and their first sweep with a chance to take two from the Mets on the road. The Orioles are also going for just their third set of consecutive road wins this season, and first since they won two straight before their just-completed seven-game losing streak.

2. Bundy’s turn. With a 3.21 ERA over his past four starts and three quality starts during that stretch, Dylan Bundy appears to be back on track. He’s pitched at least six innings in each of his past four starts, something he did all but once in posting a 1.42 ERA over his first five starts this season. He’ll be looking to keep that going in his first career game against the Mets and in conditions that favor him. Bundy has been much better in day games than night games this season, with a 1.30 ERA in five day starts and a 7.68 ERA in seven night starts.

3. Boom boom breakout. In Tuesday’s win, Trey Mancini had his first multihit game since May 13, when he elevated his season average to .275 and his OPS to a season-high .787. Mancini struggled badly in between with just seven hits in 61 at-bats, batting .115/.217/.180 over his 17 games before Tuesday, during which time the Orioles went 4-13. Mancini had two singles in the series opener as he returned to the leadoff spot for the first time in six games. Could that be the start of a breakout for the Orioles left fielder?
