Her father might have issues with professional athletes, but Ivanka Trump didn’t have a problem helping the Washington Capitals celebrate their Stanley Cup victory.

Trump and husband, Jared Kushner, were out to dinner Saturday night in Georgetown when Caps captain Alex Ovechkin and members of the team walked into Cafe Milano with the Stanley Cup, according to news reports.

President Donald Trump’s daughter and son-in-law posed for photos with the trophy and members of the Capitals, reports said. The players later sang and drank with patrons of the restaurant.

It was one stop on the Capitals’ victory tour Saturday, which began with Ovechkin throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the Nationals-San Francisco Giants game. Then the Caps took the trophy all over D.C.

Maybe it will even make it to the White House.

A parade is set for Tuesday in Washington.
