Woodstock County Music Fest presents A County Music Concert on Sunday, June 24 at 2 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Catholic Church. This charity concert will benefit Baltimore’s homeless community and will feature Rolling Stone’s Magazine Artist you need to know, Frank Ray. He will be accompanied by the Davisson Brothers, Dean Crawford and The Dunns River Band.

Tickets are $30 a each if purchased by June 17. After June 17, tickets go up to $40 per person. Barbecue, beer, wine and beverages will be available for purchase at the kiosks. St. James United Methodist Church will hold its vacation bible school from July 23-27 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Children ages 3 years through sixth grade are welcome to attend. This year’s theme is Raging River Rampage – and the students will participate in music, recreation, crafts, Bible story time and snacks. Online registration is available at vbsmate.com. Congratulations to the Marriotts Ridge Varsity Boys Lacrosse team for winning the 2A Lacrosse State Championship. This is the first time in the school’s history that the team, led by coaches Anthony Incontrea, Gary Clipp, Ken Senisi, Thomas Minard and Mike Evans, have made it to the state champions and won!
