On Sept. 30, 1938, Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain returned from the Munich Conference (a meeting with Nazi leaders) with a worthless document and proclaimed “We have achieved peace for our time.”
President Trump returned from Singapore with an equally worthless document saying “North Korea is no longer a nuclear threat” (“Trump claim that North Korea is no longer a nuclear threat raises eyebrows,” June 13).
Does anyone remember what happened after The Munich agreement?
