‘Lock him up’: With Supreme Court ruling, Biden could put Trump away. | READER COMMENTARY

Given the freedom granted by the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on immunity and official duties, maybe President Joe Biden should declare Donald Trump a threat to democracy and lock him up (“The Supreme Court is not Red v. Blue,” June 29).

As for the MAGA supporters who will protest, do what Trump often says and send them back to their (likely European) country of origin and revoke their U.S. citizenship. And then lock up the six justices who made the ruling for failing to protect the Constitution.

Sounds absurd? Those six justices just gave the President of the United States that power which puts Trump’s statements of vengeance in a new perspective. We just commemorated the D-Day invasion of 80 years ago to end what the Supreme Court just established.
