Performing contemporary gospel with a touch of jazz and blues, The World Famous Harlem Gospel Choir is synonymous with power vocals, glorious sound and infectious energy. For over two decades they have been America's premier gospel choir and have toured the globe thrilling audiences with the inspirational power of black gospel music.
The Choir presents modem gospel classics as perfonned in the black churches of Harlem today. They have performed alongside superstars such as Bono, Diana Ross, The Gorillaz, Andre Rieu, Pharrcll Williams, JamieXX, KBS Korean Traditional Music Orchestra and Lang Lang, Lou Gramm of Foreigner, Dec Snider of Twisted Sister, Sia, Yolanda Adams, The I975, Nile Rodgers, Kathy Sledge, Little Simz, Ne-Yo, and at the 2018 Grammy Award Show with Sam Smith. They have performed for three Presidents (President Obama, President Carter and President Nelson Mandela), two Popes (Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI), and the UN General Assembly. They have recorded with giants such as Keith Richards, The Chieftains, and Trace Adkins.
Harlem Gospel Choir embodies the spirit of American Gospel. Every concert is infectiously enthusiastic; a roller coaster ride of singing and dancing; a gospel c-elebration! The mixers will be the perfect casual antidote for wrapping up a weekend on the East End! Plus, attendees are invited to come early or stay after to catch a show on Bay Street's Mainstage, with Sunday matinee performances at 2 p.m. and evening performances at 7 pm. The series of events will offer creative cocktail specials, light bites, theme days, fabulous music, and LOTS OF DANCING.

Birbiglia returns to Bay Street Theater, by popular demand, on the heels of his DOUBLE SOLD-OUT performances last summer of "The Old Man and the Pool" which debuted at Bay Street Theater and went on to be a hit Broadway show and Netflix comedy special.
