All Bodies On Bikes co-founder and body positivity advocate Marley Blonsky can add another title to her business card: Cycling fashion aficionado. She partnered with women’s multisport apparel brand SHREDLY to create a capsule collection of cycling kit staples that aren’t just available in larger sizes, they’re properly designed with bigger bodies in mind.

The exclusive SHREDLY x Marley Blonsky collection is set to drop in April 2024, but the pre-order opens today, December 6, 2023.

“I am over the moon to be working with Shredly on this capsule collection and honestly, it still feels surreal,” Blonsky told Bicycling. “Throughout my entire cycling career, I feel like I’ve had to squeeze into clothing that wasn’t made or designed with my body in mind. SHREDLY is different: it fits my curves and lets me actually feel cute out on the trails.”

SHREDLY founder Ashley Rankin has long admired Blonsky’s advocacy, attitude and style, and a collaboration between the two felt natural. Rankin knew she wanted to partner with Blonksy, but wasn’t positive what a partnership could look like. And then, the idea to create a collection of clothing designed to flatter and fit any cyclist was born.

“The capsule idea with Marley came up when our team was talking about what kind of partnerships we want to forge,” Rankin told Bicycling. “My goal was to focus on something rooted in authenticity, that wasn’t marketing-based. Something that would be mutually beneficial for the person or organization that we aligned with. Marley and her work with All Bodies on Bike, and her vulnerable but humorous, light hearted approach to empower others feels so complimentary to our mission and vision. It was a no brainer to want to work with her. Working together has been so easy and fun because we are so closely aligned in our goals and values.”

Blonsky is a self-described “fat adventure cyclist” and bike advocate who believes that every person, no matter their weight, gender, race or perceived ability belongs on a bicycle and is on a mission to foster inclusive bike communities around the country. As part of the All Bodies on Bikes mission, Blonsky is dedicated to educating and changing the industry as well as ensuring access to safe and comfortable biking equipment. And that includes clothing that fits well, is comfortable, and actually performs well on the bike.

Finding cycling clothing that feels good and fits well is tough for many women, especially since most shops carry limited ranges of women’s clothing in general, and rarely have a wide variety of sizes and styles. Even brands that do carry larger sizes often don’t have them on hand at events. But not SHREDLY.

“I remember stepping into SHREDLY’s trailer a few years back at an event, and for the first time in my life not only did I find shorts available in my size to try on, but I had multiple options to choose from,” Blonsky said. “I still remember the feeling of putting the shorts on and all the emotions that came with it.”
